Hey...been really busy getting my album recorded & mixed so I haven't had time to post, but I've been busy in the garden as well. Her's the lowdon on what I've gotten done the past month:
Picked tons of peas, ate tons of peas, ripped up the peas and planted beets.
Picked beets, made beet pickles.
Cucumbers and tomatoes are coming along nicely. Picked 2 patio tomatoes yesterday. The beefsteaks are gigantic! Tomatoes everywhere.
Been picking squash and zucchini almost daily. One squash plant averages nine squash on it at a time.
Picked some baby eggplants yesterday.
Harvesting and eating cabbage regularly. All but one broccoli has been devoured.
Ripped up all the basil (except one plant that I'm going to let seed) and it's in the dehydrator now (lowest setting for herbs). Tomorrow the catnip gets the same treatment. Cilantro went to seed ages ago and I pulled it all today, hung it upside down and should have massive amounts of coriander in a week or so, depending on the heat.
Chicken run is finished and the chickens are loving it. I'm feeding them at least 50 Japanese Beetles a day along with their feed, which makes happy.
